About the Role
Antaes Asia is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Junior Business Development Manager to contribute to its expansion across Asia. This position uniquely blends client acquisition with recruitment, offering a comprehensive understanding of how a consulting firm achieves growth. The role is pivotal in identifying new business prospects while simultaneously sourcing suitable consultants to fulfill project requirements, ensuring a seamless connection between market opportunities and available talent.
Key Responsibilities
Client Sourcing & Business Development (Core Focus)
- Identify, target, and secure new clients within key industry sectors.
- Cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities.
- Initiate outreach through calls, meetings, and networking to generate qualified leads.
- Analyze client challenges and propose customized consulting solutions.
- Engage in contract negotiations and finalize deals.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle to support business expansion.
- Source and attract high-caliber candidates using a variety of methods.
- Conduct screening, interviews, and assessments of consultants based on client needs.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pool that aligns with market demands.
- Facilitate the matching of candidates to client opportunities and manage the placement process.
Account Management
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clientele.
- Ensure successful project delivery by aligning consultant capabilities with client expectations.
- Proactively identify and source talent for future hiring needs.
- Support ongoing business development efforts within established accounts.
Requirements
- Possession of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Consulting, or Recruitment, with client-facing experience being advantageous.
- A keen interest in both client acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, multicultural, and international work environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive, resilient, and results-driven approach to work.
