About the role
Amazon is looking for an IT Support Associate to join its Service Desk organization in Bengaluru. The team supports Amazon’s global operations by delivering centralized IT assistance through an omni-channel contact center, helping internal users across regions and supporting Amazon Locker-related operations. This function is essential to keeping sites running smoothly and enabling timely customer service.
What you’ll do
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders across APAC, EMEA, and AMER, including operations, IT, and customer support teams.
- Follow standard operating procedures consistently to maintain reliable day-to-day support delivery.
- Troubleshoot common issues on end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Handle basic support tasks for Windows and Linux environments.
- Work flexible rotational shifts as required by the service desk schedule.
- Contribute to service desk performance targets, including response and resolution SLAs, CSAT, and incident management.
- Be based at Amazon’s Bangalore corporate office (BLR18).
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in service desk or technical support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred knowledge
- Familiarity with ITIL-based ticketing and monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
