Role overview

The Inventory Controller will oversee inventory monitoring and control activities at the Jazan site. This position is focused on keeping stock records precise, supporting smooth material movement, and ensuring inventory levels are managed effectively across site operations.

Working in a busy operational setting with material handling, equipment movement, and ongoing logistics activity, the role requires close coordination with site teams to keep operations efficient and inventory information up to date.

Key responsibilities

  • Keep all inventory movement records accurate for the Jazan site, covering receipts, storage, transfers, and dispatches.
  • Track daily stock levels to maintain availability and avoid both shortages and overstocking.
  • Work closely with site operations and logistics teams so materials move on time and are available when needed for operations.
  • Carry out regular stock takes, cycle counts, and physical checks to ensure the system balance matches actual inventory.
  • Review inventory differences, identify causes, and help put corrective measures in place to strengthen stock accuracy.
  • Maintain complete documentation and tracking for materials within the inventory management system.
  • Liaise with procurement and supply chain teams on material needs, replenishment planning, and inventory updates.
  • Monitor inventory KPIs such as stock accuracy, turnover, and availability, and report on performance trends.
  • Prepare periodic inventory reports and share practical observations on stock movement and material usage with site management.
  • Support improvements to inventory processes and systems to increase efficiency and improve visibility across operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a similar discipline from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English.
  • 0–3 years of experience in a comparable or related role.
  • Practical background in inventory control and stock management in operational or industrial environments.
  • Hands-on familiarity with SAP or a comparable warehouse management system.
  • Experience or exposure in site operations, warehouse coordination, or logistics is an advantage.
