Job description
About My Clinic
My Clinic is a multispecialty outpatient care provider in Saudi Arabia. Since 2017, the organization has focused on improving lives through healthcare that combines innovation with care, collaboration, ambition, and responsibility. As the team expands, it is seeking professionals who are aligned with this mission and values.
Role Overview
This position provides project leadership support for large-scale system upgrade work, change requests, enhancements, and upcoming system projects across the Hospital Information System (HIS) and other important IT and business initiatives. The role centers on coordinating business needs with technical delivery, monitoring progress, managing risks, ensuring on-time execution, and keeping stakeholders aligned. It also involves producing and maintaining technical and functional documentation, supporting the lead resource in project execution, and enabling knowledge transfer between IT teams and business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead support activities for HIS system upgrades, major change requests, ongoing enhancements, and future system initiatives across IT and business functions.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and practical delivery plans for HIS and other enterprise projects.
- Keep project work moving on schedule while maintaining alignment among clinical, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, track KPIs, manage risks and issues, and prepare regular updates for senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain clear technical and functional documentation, including requirements, design documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Assist the lead project resource with daily execution, problem resolution, and knowledge sharing with internal teams.
- Partner with IT teams to plan and deliver system improvements, upgrades, integrations, and performance enhancements.
- Work with business stakeholders to rank enhancement requests and confirm that delivered solutions support operational goals.
- Strengthen business-IT alignment by bringing together technical knowledge and operational understanding of HIS.
- Identify project risks and dependencies, perform root cause analysis when needed, and recommend mitigation actions.
- Manage scope changes, change control, and impact assessment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and training efforts to help users adopt new enhancements smoothly.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to better project management practices over time.
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline is required. A master's degree is considered an advantage. The role calls for around 6 years of relevant project management experience, preferably with Hospital Information System or similar healthcare IT projects such as upgrades, enhancements, or clinical system implementations. No license is required. PMP certification is expected.
Skills and Expertise
The ideal candidate should understand Hospital Information Systems from both technical and operational angles, including upgrades, integrations, architecture, clinical workflows, patient handling, and administrative processes. Experience with healthcare IT system upgrades, change requests, enhancements, and enterprise IT/business projects is important, along with strong planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting abilities. The role also requires the ability to connect business requirements with technical teams, maintain documentation standards, communicate clearly, collaborate across functions, solve problems analytically, manage several priorities, and support lead resources and knowledge transfer. Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and solid analytical and problem-solving ability are important for success in this role.
