About the Role
This HR position supports day-to-day department operations through administrative coordination and assistance. The role contributes to regional and corporate HR initiatives, supports internal communication, and helps ensure compliance with employment regulations and company rules. The selected candidate will help build a positive, inclusive employee experience while supporting talent attraction, development, and retention in line with business goals. Qualifications
A high school diploma is required for this role, while a college degree or HR certification is preferred. Candidates should bring 2 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in a generalist, recruitment, or employee relations setting, or have an equivalent mix of education and experience. The role calls for solid organization, strong analytical ability to interpret data, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, confidence using Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle several priorities efficiently are important. Professionalism, discretion, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Carry out essential HR workflows such as onboarding, orientation, exit interviews, and leave administration to support smooth employee movement and policy compliance.
- Work with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition teams on recruitment activities, including reviewing candidates and arranging interviews.
- Help HR Business Partners support a workplace culture that values inclusion and diversity.
- Coordinate employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives that contribute to a healthier work environment.
- Offer technical assistance and customer support for key HR projects, programs, and systems.
- Monitor compliance-related activities and help ensure the organization follows legal and regulatory requirements.
- Draft, share, and organize internal communications such as memos, emails, presentations, and surveys to keep information moving across teams.
- Compile data, summarize responses, and prepare reports that assist with decisions and process improvements.
- Support meetings, webinars, conference calls, and new hire orientations to help HR events run smoothly.
- Take on other assigned duties as needed to meet HR department goals and operational requirements.
