Job Overview
Walmart is seeking a Human Resources Associate for its Kernersville, NC location. This role involves supporting leadership in various HR functions, including recruitment, hiring, staffing, associate development, succession planning, scheduling, attendance management, and performance evaluation. The associate will identify and analyze HR-related issues and provide guidance on the implementation of company HR programs and initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19 to $32, with the actual rate meeting or exceeding the applicable minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may be provided through annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, may be awarded based on factors such as schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and multiple premiums can apply. Full-time associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, stock purchase options, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off, including parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave, is also provided. Other benefits include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, and reimbursement for adoption and surrogacy expenses. Associates will accrue PTO and/or PPTO for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes, which will meet or exceed local paid sick leave law requirements.
Education and Development
Walmart offers the Live Better U program, a tuition-paid education benefit for full-time and part-time associates. This program covers high school completion, bachelor's degrees, English Language Learning, and short-form certificates, including tuition, books, and fees.
