Role overview

SIHAMCO is expanding quickly across the year and manages sizeable, diverse teams made up of employees, freelancers, seasonal workers, overseas hires, and operational staff from many nationalities and professional backgrounds. The business is looking for an accomplished, people-focused HR Manager to lead HR operations in a fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage environment.

This position covers the full employee journey across multiple projects and operating units, supporting teams that grow and shrink depending on seasonal demand, events, and activations. It calls for someone who can manage complex workforce changes, work comfortably with multicultural teams, and combine strategic HR thinking with practical day-to-day execution.

What the role involves

  • Lead HR operations for large hospitality, events, entertainment, and activation projects with changing staffing needs.
  • Support staffing plans for busy seasons, new project rollouts, and major event operations.
  • Coordinate recruitment, mobilisation, and onboarding of both local and international employees across different sites and departments.
  • Make sure staffing moves and transitions run smoothly during ramp-ups and operational shifts.
  • Handle a workforce made up of many nationalities, cultures, languages, and backgrounds.
  • Build and maintain a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace across all teams.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including complaints, discipline, and conflict resolution with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Support staff wellbeing and engagement in demanding operational settings.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Labour Law, company policies, visa requirements, and internal HR procedures.
  • Maintain employee files, contracts, attendance, leave records, and other HR documents.
  • Work with finance and operations teams on employee documentation and workforce compliance matters.
  • Protect confidentiality and handle sensitive HR issues with discretion.
  • Support managers with performance management, coaching, and employee development.
  • Identify learning and training needs for operational and guest-facing teams.
  • Encourage service quality, professionalism, and company culture across departments.
  • Lead recruitment for hospitality, events, entertainment, operational, and corporate positions.
  • Work with operations leadership to anticipate headcount needs and keep the workforce ready.
  • Partner with senior management on staffing structure, workforce strategy, and business growth.
  • Prepare HR reports, staffing updates, headcount summaries, and workforce planning analysis.
  • Recommend improvements to HR systems, onboarding flow, and employee experience initiatives.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant is highly organised, adaptable, and strong in operations, with the ability to balance strategic HR leadership and hands-on people management. This role suits someone who performs well under pressure in fast-moving environments and is confident dealing with high-volume staffing and multicultural employee relations.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Previous HR Manager experience in hospitality, events, entertainment, food and beverage, staffing, or other large-scale operational businesses.
  • Proven background in managing seasonal and high-volume workforces.
  • Experience with large-scale recruitment processes.
  • Solid knowledge of Saudi Labour Law and HR compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Hands-on experience in HR operations and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively in demanding, fast-moving settings.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capability.
  • Fluent English and Arabic.
