Job description
Role Overview
Cypress Skilled Nursing is hiring hardworking Housekeeping Aides for its Bremen, Georgia facility. The role is centered on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours
This position follows a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule and includes a weekend requirement.
Key Duties
- Take ownership of day-to-day cleaning and sanitation across the facility as part of the environmental services team.
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms on a regular basis.
- Complete the monthly carbolization cleaning for resident rooms.
- Use proper safety practices, infection-control measures, and universal precautions to protect residents, staff, and visitors.
- Keep housekeeping carts and storage closets stocked according to correct procedures.
- Arrive in the facility-assigned uniform for every shift.
- Escalate concerns, maintenance needs, and other issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and appropriate attitude at all times.
