About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Bateman House Care Home, a luxury facility in Uttoxeter, England. As part of the Country Court Family, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents. Bateman House offers a warm, home-like atmosphere with 76 ensuite bedrooms, providing person-centred residential and specialist dementia care. We are a family-run business committed to providing exceptional care and creating extraordinary living environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the immaculate cleanliness and hygiene of residents' rooms and personal clothing.
• Thoroughly clean all surfaces, leaving no area unchecked.
• Wash, press, and fold residents' personal clothing and bedding to the highest standards.
• Maintain the overall tidiness and presentation of the care home.
• Contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents and their families.

Requirements

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards.
• A friendly and caring attitude.
• Ability to engage effectively with residents and their families.
• Proactive, passionate, and ambitious approach to work.
• Previous experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge or understanding of the care sector is beneficial.
