About the Role
Greystar is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. This role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of our community, ensuring a positive living experience for residents. You will be responsible for the upkeep of communal areas, resident rooms, and external spaces, working collaboratively with the Community team to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to a supportive team environment by ensuring high levels of cleanliness across the community.
- Address resident inquiries promptly and effectively, directing them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness of reception areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms.
- Conduct daily checks and cleaning of all amenity areas.
- Perform daily litter picks across all external community areas.
- Ensure empty rooms, apartments, and show flats are refreshed daily to maintain market-ready appeal.
- Execute weekly flush downs in all vacant rooms and apartments in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist the Community Manager and supervisor with additional tasks during the make-ready process for apartments.
- Identify and report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to the Community Manager to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.
- Log any identified maintenance issues with the Customer Service team during daily routines.
- Handle ad hoc requests to address resident concerns or queries.
- Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies, notifying supervisors when reordering is needed.
- Optimize the use of materials and equipment to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Adhere to agreed cleaning standards for resident rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and trash removal. May also involve changing linens, making beds, and restocking toiletries.
- Maintain and manage agreed stock levels of linen, ensuring proper organization to prevent damage.
