Role overview
Euro Homes Group is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests and to help keep front desk activities running efficiently. The role focuses on creating a friendly guest experience while maintaining accurate administrative and service records.
Key responsibilities
- Greet arriving guests in a courteous and professional manner so they feel welcomed and well looked after.
- Handle guest check-in and registration, making sure all required details are collected correctly and recorded properly.
- Share information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and nearby attractions to support guest enquiries.
- Keep guest records up to date, take payments, and issue invoices accurately.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and any service issues are resolved without delay.
- Collect guest feedback, respond to concerns, and work to resolve problems quickly in order to improve service quality.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree from a recognized university is required.
- Prior experience in customer service or a front desk position is required.
- Experience working in a hotel or broader hospitality setting is an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- You should have excellent interpersonal skills and present a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to juggle several tasks and manage time well in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and night shifts when needed.
- Candidates must live in East Legon or the surrounding areas.
