Job Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and determine the size of their group.
- Escort guests to available and clean tables, ensuring a comfortable seating arrangement.
- Present updated and clean menus to each guest.
- Assist guests as needed while guiding them through dining areas.
- Rearrange tables, chairs, and cutlery to accommodate special group seating requirements.
- Verify that guests have the correct cutlery, a napkin, and any other standard table setting items.
- Ensure menus are current, clean, complete, and free from damage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift with consistent cleaning procedures.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms.
- Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
- Participate in safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance with a clean uniform.
- Protect company assets and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, and answer phones using proper etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships and support team goals.
- Listen to and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure quality expectations and standards are met.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
