Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Chatham, England. This position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers. The role is centered on delivering shopping safely and efficiently while representing the business as a customer-facing ambassador.
The hourly pay for this role is £13.71.
What the job involves
As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering orders to customers and making sure each delivery reaches them in good condition. You will also be expected to follow safe driving practices, carry out vehicle checks, and handle van loading safely, including manual handling and heavier items. When needed, you may also support store operations.
Working pattern
Shift times can vary, with working hours ranging from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. The role requires flexibility to adapt to different shift patterns and the ability to manage your time well while working on your own.
Candidate profile
Applicants should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points. The ideal candidate will be positive, approachable, punctual, and committed to delivering strong customer service. A good awareness of road safety and the ability to work to deadlines are also important.
