Where you'll work

Job description

Role overview

Simular is hiring a Growth Engineer to strengthen the systems, experiments, and code that support user growth. This role is for someone who values clean engineering work and also thinks deeply about growth metrics. You will collaborate closely with the go-to-market team to convert user insights into product changes that can be shipped and measured.

What you will do

  • Own and expand the growth data stack, including event tracking, attribution, and experimentation infrastructure.
  • Plan, build, and launch product experiments from start to finish, covering instrumentation, analysis, and rollout.
  • Work with GTM and product teams to spot growth opportunities and turn them into engineering tasks.
  • Use code and data to improve activation, retention, and monetization rather than relying only on dashboards.
  • Create internal tools that allow non-technical teammates to run experiments and perform analysis independently.

What the team is looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in full-stack or backend engineering.
  • Strong command of SQL and familiarity with analytics tools such as dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or comparable systems is a plus.
  • A strong shipping mindset with a focus on measurable impact, not just delivering code.
  • Good product judgment and the ability to understand and interpret user behavior.

Bonus experience

  • Experience working on PLG products or consumer-facing applications.
  • Exposure to mobile or web attribution frameworks.
  • Previous experience in a startup or fast-scaling company environment.
