About the Role
Parsons is hiring a skilled Graphic Designer to join its Engineering Team in Riyadh. This position focuses on developing polished visual communications for proposals, presentations, reports, and other project materials that support multidisciplinary work across infrastructure, buildings, landscape, and related sectors. The role also includes guiding and mentoring a small team of graphic designers within the design engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee the delivery of design outputs across several engineering and design assignments, often with limited supervision. The job calls for hands-on work with advanced design tools to produce layouts and visual assets for both print and digital use.
- Coordinate graphic design deliverables across multiple projects and disciplines.
- Create layouts for proposals, presentations, reports, and visual content using current design software.
- Handle highly complex design tasks and produce artwork that meets project and client standards.
- Prepare graphics, diagrams, maps, charts, tables, posters, and infographics suitable for reproduction.
- Ensure all artwork and copy align with company and client branding and style manuals.
- Work closely with technical leaders, engineers, architects, and authors to improve clarity, accuracy, and consistency of submitted content.
- Update existing artwork and supply production details such as sizing, quantities, file types, and print/digital specifications.
- Convert technical and engineering information into clear and visually effective communication materials.
- Lead and support a functional team of graphic designers, helping them deliver work on schedule and to quality expectations.
- Review junior designers’ outputs for accuracy, branding compliance, and overall presentation quality.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The role requires an associate degree in graphic design, completion of an accredited design/graphics certificate program, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates should typically have at least 5 years of relevant experience in advanced graphic design.
- Education in graphic design or a related accredited graphics program, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in advanced graphic design work.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with presentation software.
- Understanding of graphics production, press-ready file preparation, and digital reproduction workflows.
- Ability to manage complex documents and technical content such as proposals, reports, engineering drawings, diagrams, and visual data.
- Excellent attention to detail, including layout, typography, and visual structure.
- Capability to organize and complete large, complex assignments across several active projects.
- Potential to work in a lead role and provide technical direction and quality review to team members.
- Strong teamwork skills for collaborating with engineers, architects, and project writers in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Ability to maintain strict corporate branding across multiple media and project types.
- Clear communication skills to present technical ideas visually for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability to support a broad range of design tasks within an engineering team.
