Job description

Position Overview

This opening is for a Manufacturing Process & Quality Engineer Trainee based in Bengaluru. The role is suited to a recent engineering graduate who can contribute to manufacturing process support, quality control, validation work, and cross-functional coordination within a production environment.

Qualification Requirements

The preferred academic background is a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the manufacturing line for power electronics and RF coils.
  • Identify and help resolve quality-related issues on the line.
  • Make sure calibration tasks for equipment are completed according to the planned schedule.
  • Check and keep calibration records up to date.
  • Assist with verification and validation work for equipment and production processes.
  • Draft validation and verification documentation.
  • Support installation and upkeep of equipment.
  • Help source tools and equipment required for manufacturing.
  • Assist in clearing non-conforming material reports from the production floor on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Handle the area used for non-conforming products.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and supplier quality engineering teams to troubleshoot problems and manage rejected material.
  • Follow up with suppliers on rejected parts and rework activities involving both suppliers and the production line.
  • Support the creation of work instructions and preserve revision records.
  • Assist in preparing Device History Records and maintaining their revision history.
  • Help communicate engineering changes and distribute related documents across teams.
  • Train manufacturing staff on updated work instructions.
  • Contribute to solutions for quality, cost, and productivity challenges.
  • Take ownership of the EHS element as a supporting member.
  • Help maintain capital goods inventory and ensure proper traceability.
  • Carry out Poke Yoke initiatives for jigs and fixtures to make manufacturing simpler.
  • Support Kaizen deployment across manufacturing lines.
  • Assist the manufacturing team in running Lean Action Work Outs across the site.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow site QMS procedures and work instructions.
  • Comply with site EHS policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to site HR and admin policies.

Experience

Candidates should be fresh graduates or have up to 1 year of relevant experience.
