Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fundraiser position located in Lucknow. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and researching prospective individual, corporate, and institutional donors, and cultivating robust, enduring relationships through various channels such as meetings, calls, events, and written correspondence. Key duties include preparing fundraising proposals, grant applications, impact reports, and donor communication materials. The role also involves maintaining an accurate donor database, tracking contributions, and assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events. Collaboration with program teams to gather impact data and success stories is essential, as is coordinating social media and outreach efforts to support fundraising objectives. The Fundraiser will also conduct periodic visits to project sites to gain a deeper understanding of the work being done and represent United for Animal Welfare at community gatherings and partner meetings.

Additional Information

The role requires the ability to work on-site in Lucknow, undertake occasional field visits, and travel locally for meetings and events. Candidates should be comfortable operating within a resource-conscious nonprofit setting and be prepared to take initiative, working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
