Role Overview

A manufacturing company in Vapi is looking for an ITI Fitter to support machine upkeep in a pharmaceutical production environment. The role is focused on keeping equipment reliable, reducing breakdowns, and ensuring day-to-day plant operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle preventive, predictive, and unplanned maintenance for plant machinery and related equipment.
• Carry out fitting work, equipment assembly, installation, alignment, and dismantling of mechanical parts.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults in pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, compressors, and utility systems.
• Support uninterrupted production by reducing machine downtime and restoring equipment quickly.
• Change damaged or worn components such as bearings, seals, couplings, and similar mechanical parts.
• Perform regular inspections and complete maintenance tasks according to the scheduled plan.
• Use mechanical drawings, layouts, and maintenance manuals to guide repair and servicing work.
• Keep proper records of maintenance work, repairs completed, and spare parts used.
• Work with production and maintenance staff to maintain equipment performance.
• Follow all safety rules, cleanliness standards, and internal maintenance procedures.
