Job description
Role overview
The Finance team at FSG is hiring a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, debt compliance tracking, and other finance work across its global sports and entertainment businesses. This is a newly created position that will help strengthen existing processes while also contributing to new areas as the organization expands.
The role sits mainly within FP&A, Debt Capital Markets, and Treasury, with potential exposure to Controller-related work as well. You will also help prepare materials for FSG partners, bankers, and other external stakeholders, making the position a meaningful part of day-to-day and strategic finance operations.
The company is looking for a sharp, detail-focused finance professional who is comfortable with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is well suited to someone who takes initiative, works well in a fast-moving environment, and is eager to contribute beyond core responsibilities.
The base pay for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on relevant experience. The position also includes annual incentive compensation and a full benefits package.
Key responsibilities
- Develop source materials and presentation drafts for quarterly partner meetings, biannual long-range planning, and monthly financial updates from a budgeting and forecasting standpoint.
- Help manage the annual budget cycle and periodic forecasting for FSG holding companies, including analysis and presentation support.
- Build cash flow forecasts and prepare weekly loan notice requests, including borrowing recommendations to support efficient debt management.
- Assist with debt financing work across the FSG platform by creating, refining, and maintaining complex scenario models.
- Track compliance with debt covenants for both holding company and property-level debt, and share results with internal teams on a regular basis.
- Contribute to recurring internal reporting such as the Monthly FSG Debt Summary and budget-versus-actual expense variance reviews.
- Review financial data to spot trends, variances, and actionable insights that support decision-making.
- Help advance team and company initiatives, including better budgeting and forecasting tools, process upgrades, reporting improvements, consolidation software rollout, and technology or AI-enabled enhancements.
- Find new and more efficient ways to complete work, analyze information, and generate useful insights.
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests across the FSG Finance organization.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in an analytical finance role, such as Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking.
- Strong technical ability, including experience using AI tools to improve productivity and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel capability along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical thinking and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to draw conclusions from financial information.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational discipline.
- Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced setting and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial data to non-finance audiences.
- A collaborative, dependable team player who takes initiative.
