Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee SteerAI's financial operations and strategic planning. This role involves close collaboration with leadership, strategy, operations, and project teams to ensure robust financial planning, governance, accurate reporting, and effective budgeting for current and future projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology setting, providing data-driven insights through financial analysis and clear reporting.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the creation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for SteerAI programs and projects.
- Monitor financial performance, identify deviations, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Generate monthly financial reports, dashboards, and analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with project and technical teams to ensure precise cost tracking and optimal budget utilization.
- Assist procurement teams with financial procedures, ensuring adherence to internal financial policies.
- Aid in the development of business cases, financial models, and investment analyses for new ventures.
- Uphold organizational financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting mandates.
- Coordinate with internal finance departments to facilitate audits, financial reviews, and reporting cycles.
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes and tools for improved efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 6-8 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial operations.
- Prior experience supporting technology, R&D, or project-based environments is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools or ERP systems is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA are considered beneficial.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret financial data and present clear business insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work effectively with technical and non-financial stakeholders.
- Comfort and adaptability in a dynamic, rapidly growing technology environment.
