Job description

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee the organization’s finance function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a focus on accurate reporting, disciplined cost management, robust budgeting, and financial support for operational performance and profitability within integrated facilities management services.

Financial Planning and Budgeting

  • Build yearly budgets for facilities management contracts as well as central corporate activities.
  • Prepare financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Compare actual results against budgeted figures and call out meaningful variances.

Cost Control and Contract Finance

  • Monitor operating and capital expenditures across FM activities, covering both hard and soft services.
  • Examine and verify invoices from service providers and subcontractors.
  • Assist with pricing and costing for FM bids and tender submissions.

Financial Reporting

  • Produce monthly management accounts and finance dashboards.
  • Deliver accurate, timely reporting to senior leadership, including the CFO and COO.
  • Track performance measures such as contract profit margin and facility-level cost metrics.

Revenue and Contract Management

  • Track revenue recognition for FM contracts.
  • Ensure financial obligations under contracts are met, including service levels, penalties, and scope changes.
  • Support commercial contract reviews and renegotiation discussions.

Cash Flow and Working Capital

  • Forecast cash requirements and plan liquidity effectively.
  • Follow up on receivables and support timely client collections.
  • Improve working capital management across projects and contracts.

Compliance and Governance

  • Maintain compliance with IFRS and applicable local accounting rules.
  • Coordinate both internal and external audit activities.
  • Strengthen internal controls and uphold financial policies.

Business Support and Strategy

  • Partner with FM operations teams by providing financial analysis and guidance.
  • Deliver profitability insights at site and contract level.
  • Support senior management with strategic financial input for decision-making.

Required Background

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline is required. Professional credentials such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are considered an advantage. Candidates should bring solid experience from facilities management, integrated facilities management, contracting, or another project-driven services environment. Strong working knowledge of OPEX, CAPEX, project costing, contract finance, and budget control is essential. Advanced Excel capability and experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or comparable systems are also expected. The role calls for strong analytical judgment, commercial awareness, leadership ability, and stakeholder management skills, along with the capacity to support operational teams in a demanding IFM setting.
