Responsibilities

• Execute the assigned field tasks in line with control room instructions, including the safe handover of equipment for maintenance.
• Maintain clean and safe working conditions in the field while following safety practices.
• Watch plant equipment closely and respond promptly to reduce the risk of breakdowns and operational delays.
• Operate and manage large pumps, compressors, and turbines, with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Support operations in a gas-based HYL DRI plant and handle hot discharge HYL plant activities.
• Record field data and identify any abnormal operating conditions.
• Adjust field equipment and valve settings as required by the process and as directed by the control room.
• Coordinate with the Senior Field Operator or shift supervisor whenever deviations occur or guidance is needed.
• Understand shutdown, start-up, and emergency response procedures to ensure safe plant operation.
