About the Role
The External Sanitizer position is based in Louisiana and supports sanitation operations at the Baton Rouge site. This overnight role follows a Sunday through Thursday schedule from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
What the Job Involves
This role focuses on keeping production equipment and storage areas clean and sanitized on the outside, while also helping maintain housekeeping standards across the production floor. Additional tasks may be assigned by management as needed.
Key Duties
- Clean and sanitize production equipment and storage spaces from the exterior.
- Carry out housekeeping work in production areas.
- Complete any other related responsibilities assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to work with required personal protective equipment in line with safety policies. Reliable attendance is essential. Applicants should be able to read, write, and speak English, maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and use company tools and technology effectively. A high school diploma or GED is required, or 1 to 3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. The role also requires comfort working weekends, holidays, or flexible schedules when needed, along with strong communication, time management, self-motivation, the ability to work with limited supervision, and multitasking skills.
Physical Requirements
This position requires compliance with the company PPE program, including safety-toed shoes when operating powered industrial equipment, working near such equipment, handling palletized products, using hand trucks or dollies, and performing cooler service tasks. The job may involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, crawling, overhead reaching, vehicle operation, and continuous use of special clothing or PPE. It may also include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs, with exposure to water, chemicals, weather, and noise at varying frequencies.
