Job Responsibilities
- Ensure production targets are met according to the plan, maintaining safety, quality standards, yields, and usages within defined objectives.
- Oversee and execute preventive and time-based maintenance for all line equipment.
- Manage equipment breakdowns efficiently during shifts, including root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
- Handle manpower requisitions and allocate available staff to various workstations during shifts.
- Verify CLTI (Critical to Line Item) and logbooks, and manage rejections within the shift.
- Conduct daily equipment-specific training sessions focusing on 5S, CLTI, PM, abnormality identification, tagging, operator training, and safety.
- Maintain equipment run hours in SAP, generate PM schedules, record abnormalities, and ensure timely closure of tags, aiming to reduce tag age below 7 days through equipment tracking and spare parts inventory management.
- Plan, communicate, and execute punch list activities during maintenance windows.
- Perform Contract Workforce Management system entries and maintain the preform tracking sheet.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, including machine guarding, safety interlocks, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures during maintenance.
- Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in line with company standards.
- Guarantee that finished goods are produced according to established quality protocols.
- Supervise operators and casual labor.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or a Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in the beverage industry.
- Proficiency in Production Management, including Planning & Scheduling, Execution, Equipment Management, TPM/RCA, and Resource Management.
- Working knowledge of Quality Management and Process Implementation.
