Role overview

An established boutique investment firm in Manhattan is looking for an Executive/Personal Assistant to support its founder. The position is centered on keeping both professional and personal matters organized and moving efficiently, with broad exposure across scheduling, travel, events, administration, and household coordination.

Core duties

  • Keep the founder’s day-to-day life running smoothly by coordinating a wide range of business and personal tasks.
  • Manage calendars, set up meetings, and organize domestic and international travel.
  • Plan and support special events and handle communications connected to charities.
  • Arrange flowers and gifts, and coordinate with IT and staff when issues arise.
  • Take care of filing, archiving, email management, and bill payment.
  • Oversee household schedules and help manage home renovation projects.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and presentations as needed.
  • Draft letters and correspondence for CEOs, dignitaries, and similar high-level contacts.

Experience and skill expectations

The ideal candidate should have prior experience assisting a well-known or high-level executive and should genuinely enjoy the demands of a role like this. Strong communication ability is essential, along with excellent written English and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Compensation

The annual base salary can go up to 200,000.

Education requirement

A bachelor’s degree is required.
