Role overview
This opening is for an Accounts Executive in the Supply Chain function at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The position focuses on invoice validation, payment support, expense tracking, budget reporting, and accounting coordination with the central accounts team.
Key responsibilities
- Examine vendor-submitted invoices and supporting papers such as ABG and PBG, complete GR/SE entries in SAP, prepare DPRs for advance release, and route invoices for payment processing.
- Maintain tracking sheets for invoices, ABG, PBG, and related documents.
- Compile expense-monitoring reports for the department.
- Prepare capitalization information and share it with the central accounts team.
- Generate additional reports as needed by the business.
- Work with budget data and prepare MIS reports related to budgets.
- Review expense-related general ledger entries and flag any incorrect postings.
- Support capex and capitalization activities with a basic working knowledge of the process.
- Check and clear GRIR accounts as part of regular review work.
Eligibility and qualifications
Applicants should hold a B.Com, BBA, or BMS degree from a recognized university. A postgraduate qualification such as M.Com or MBA is also acceptable. The role requires 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
