Role Overview
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for the organisation’s strategy, day-to-day operations, fundraising efforts, partnerships and people leadership. The role also serves as the public face and chief advocate of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

- Maintain high standards in programme execution and beneficiary outcomes.
- Manage financial performance, governance practices and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, support and inspire staff and volunteers.
- Promote accessibility, inclusion and wider awareness for people with visual impairments.
About You
The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly regarded leader with senior-level experience in nonprofit, social service, healthcare, education or similar fields. You should bring a strong record in fundraising, stakeholder engagement and partnership building, along with sound business judgment and financial management capability.
You will also need excellent communication and relationship-building skills, experience working with boards and governance frameworks, and a collaborative leadership style grounded in social purpose.
Most importantly, you should believe in helping every person live independently, take part fully in society and reach their potential.
