Role overview
This is a permanent Executive Assistant position within a global financial services firm located in London’s West End. The role sits in the Credit & Insurance function and supports senior leaders at Senior Managing Director, Managing Director, Principal, and Senior Associate level. Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day executive support to senior stakeholders.
- Keep complex calendars organised and manage meeting schedules.
- Arrange overseas travel and build detailed itineraries.
- Set up internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled.
- Track expenses and take care of general administrative tasks.
- Serve as a central contact point for internal colleagues and outside partners.
- Maintain accurate records, contacts, and related information.
- Prepare materials for meetings and assist with senior leadership activities.
- Work closely with teams across the business to keep coordination running smoothly.
- Offer proactive support in a demanding, fast-paced setting.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and team initiatives as needed.
Candidate profile
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage diaries and coordinate travel efficiently.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Professional, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Discreet, dependable, and focused on practical solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; CRM exposure is preferred.
- Experience supporting international teams would be an advantage.
Working pattern and additional details
Standard working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm. The role is primarily office-based, with one day of work from home per week; however, flexibility is expected because the position is otherwise fully office-based. The salary is up to £70,000. The office is in the West End.
