Job description
About the Internship
This 12-week paid internship is designed for students who want hands-on exposure to major oil and gas projects while building practical skills in their area of study. The program is based in Perth, Australia, and offers a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment where interns can develop professionally.
The internship is part of a broader Neurodiversity Inclusion Program. Interns in the engineering stream will work with specialist engineers to help solve technical issues that affect LNG plant performance and availability. The role includes collecting and analysing data to support offshore and onshore assets, while also learning how Chevron uses its processes and systems to evaluate practical and commercially sound solutions.
You will gain first-hand exposure to complex technical challenges and understand the wide range of engineering support needed to keep large-scale facilities operating efficiently and reliably.
Petroleum Engineering Stream
Interns in petroleum engineering will support an integrated subsurface team working on world-class operations. The placement involves assisting with reservoir and well performance reviews, helping field operations teams monitor and improve well performance and integrity, and learning about routine gas production well management.
