About the Role

The school is looking for an energetic and motivated Elementary Science Teacher to become part of its teaching team. This position focuses mainly on Science instruction and suits an educator who is enthusiastic about making science engaging, meaningful, and academically strong for young learners.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct lively, interactive science lessons for elementary students in line with the school’s curriculum and academic expectations.
Create imaginative and effective teaching approaches that build interest in science and strengthen students’ critical thinking abilities.
Work closely with fellow teachers to maintain a welcoming and encouraging classroom and school environment.
Ensure smooth and consistent progression of curriculum delivery.
Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and student needs.
Promote a classroom atmosphere that is positive, inclusive, and encourages curiosity and discovery.
Take part in parent-teacher meetings and keep parents informed about student development and performance.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in General Science, Biology, or Chemistry is required.
A recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, or an equivalent credential with a Science specialization is required.
At least 2 years of experience teaching Science at the elementary level is required.
Solid understanding of inquiry-based teaching and practical, hands-on science learning is expected.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with IELTS 6.5 or higher.
The ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues is important.
