About the Role
Kempinski Hotels is seeking a Doorman to join their Rooms Division, Front Office & Guest Services team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The primary responsibility of this role is to offer a warm and attentive welcome to all hotel guests at the entrance, adhering to established service standards to guarantee guest satisfaction. This position is integral to creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless arrival experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet arriving guests with a friendly and caring demeanor, following Kempinski's service standards, and open the hotel entrance door for all guests.
- Assist guests exiting taxis or cars by opening their doors, help with luggage, and efficiently transport it to the hotel to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Politely and effectively manage guest inquiries, such as arranging taxis or providing directions, escalating requests to the appropriate personnel when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's offerings, services, and local tourist and business information relevant to guests.
- Manage vehicle traffic to prevent any obstruction of the hotel's main entrance.
- Perform flag hoisting and lowering procedures as per hotel protocols.
- Ensure the hotel's main entrance area is kept clean and orderly, taking immediate action to rectify any issues.
- Undertake any additional duties assigned by supervisors or management.
- Note that additional responsibilities may be added based on business and hotel needs.
