Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH is a fast-growing, innovation-led business focused on sustainable lithium extraction and renewable energy. Through its lithium production facilities, the company aims to support the decarbonization of European industry and strengthen a secure, sustainable lithium supply in Europe.

The team is working toward a climate-neutral future and is looking for support in its Karlsruhe-based Project Controls function.

Role overview

For the Karlsruhe location, the company is hiring a full-time Document Controller (m/w/d) for a 40-hour work week.

What you will do

  • Maintain document control systems and ensure that project and company records are stored correctly, organized properly, and available whenever needed.
  • Track document revisions, updates, and version history to avoid the use of outdated information.
  • Distribute documents to internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders according to approved workflows and timelines.
  • Ensure that document management processes meet internal standards, quality requirements, and legal obligations.
  • Check documents for completeness and formal accuracy before they are filed in the system.
  • Coordinate document submission and approval between authors, reviewers, and approvers.
  • Prepare reports on document status, revisions, and compliance for management and audit purposes.

What you should bring

  • Relevant professional experience in document management.
  • A quality-focused, structured working style with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid skills in MS Office, SharePoint, and document management platforms such as Assai, Aconex, or similar tools.
  • Confident communication in both German and English, spoken and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working professionally with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized while handling multiple tasks at once.
