Job Summary

We are seeking a Detailer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the high standards of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include driving, detailing, and cleaning vehicles to ensure they are presented in pristine condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle detailing, including exterior washing, waxing, and buffing.
• Vacuum vehicle interiors thoroughly to remove dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, surfaces, and interior components.
• Utilize air compressors and cloths for drying and applying protective chemicals to surfaces.
• Apply dyes, paints, and waxes to protect leather and fabric interiors.
• Clean and degrease engines and engine compartments as needed.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization to support high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure customers receive the highest level of satisfaction through excellent service and prompt issue resolution.
• Drive vehicles as part of the detailing and operational process.
• Adhere strictly to uniform and grooming standards.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management to meet operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional detailing experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Capacity to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• A strong commitment to treating customer vehicles with utmost care and respect.
• Reliability in reporting to work on time and staying focused on tasks during work hours.
• Proficiency in operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required by production demands.
• Commitment to punctuality and sustained task focus throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and repetitive movements in and out of vehicles.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to distinguish minor imperfections in work, such as streaks or smudges.
• Capacity to quality inspect own work and that of colleagues.
• Must possess clear vision and hearing.
• Ability to flex spine, hands, wrists, and fingers continuously.
• Capability to push, pull, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Working Conditions

• This is a physically demanding role requiring constant movement, including bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and entering/exiting vehicles repeatedly.
• Work may be performed outdoors under diverse climatic conditions.
• Involves moving numerous vehicles throughout the workday.
• Use of approved cleaning agents such as window cleaner, tar remover, and tire shine.
• Continuous flexing of the spine, hands, wrists, and fingers is necessary.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying of up to 50 lbs.
• Requires clear communication and the ability to receive detailed information orally.
• Sharp vision and hearing are essential.
• Must be able to identify small imperfections in work, like streaks or smudges.
• Ability to assess the quality of one's own work and that of others.
• Work with a sense of urgency to respect customer time.
• Strict adherence to uniform and grooming policies is required.
