Role Overview
This full-time, in-office position is based at the company’s headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida. Reporting to the Manager of Deployment, the Deployment Planner will help manage inventory flow, improve distribution efficiency, and support timely order fulfillment. The role works closely with logistics partners, production teams, and customer service to help the business scale smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Track stock levels across multiple production sites to help distribution centers stay properly supplied.
- Partner with customer service, production, and quality control teams to support on-time and complete delivery performance.
- Complete operational data entry tasks such as creating orders, organizing shipment loads and related paperwork, issuing carrier tenders, and processing quarantine documentation.
- Confirm that transportation partners meet expectations for service quality, compliance, and reliability.
- Coordinate with regional distribution center teams on inventory transfers when needed.
- Balance transportation and distribution costs while maintaining smooth delivery to distribution centers and customers.
- Build and maintain load schedules that support performance targets and profitability goals.
- Manage carrier claims from submission through resolution.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel; advanced Excel abilities such as PivotTables and VLOOKUPs are important.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage time well.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving and constantly changing environment.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach when working with leaders and stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to learn transportation systems and related technologies.
- Background in logistics or distribution is preferred.
