Department Manager

Role overview

As a Department Manager, you will guide and motivate your team while helping create a workplace where collaboration, inclusion, and initiative can flourish. In this role, you will support strong business performance, uphold the brand’s values, and help deliver an excellent store experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in delivering an excellent customer journey by maintaining strong operational and visual presentation standards and by actively supporting product selling.
• Own the performance of your department and store area by reviewing sales results, identifying business opportunities, setting goals, and building plans to improve profitability, stock availability, and overall outcomes.
• Handle workforce planning, shift scheduling, and smooth store opening and closing procedures.
• Hire, induct, and develop team members while building an inclusive, cooperative environment that encourages learning and innovation.
• Keep up with fashion trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to stay commercially competitive.
• Represent both yourself and the brand positively in every customer interaction.

Who you will work with

You will be part of the store team, working alongside roles such as Sales Advisors, Department Managers, Store Managers, Visual Merchandisers, Assistant Store Managers, Cash Office Responsible staff, and Delivery Responsible staff in larger stores. You will also coordinate with the wider area team across stores, sharing insights and supporting collective success.

This role is open for both Pune and Mumbai locations.
