Role overview

This position involves deep cleaning high-level areas, enclosed spaces, and other parts of the factory environment. The work uses specialist equipment and takes place around expensive machinery on the production floor. The role requires confidence working at height, clear communication with a supervisor, and the ability to operate in a busy, physically demanding setting.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm.

Please note that public transport to the site is limited, so you must be able to reach the location in time for the 6:30am start.

Responsibilities

  • Keep all assigned areas cleaned to a consistently high standard.
  • Use, clean, maintain, and store equipment properly.
  • Respond promptly and politely to management instructions or requests.
  • Follow health and safety rules at all times.
  • Wear PPE throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • Ability to work quickly and meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Punctual and dependable approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and taking responsibility.
  • Able to lift and move cleaning equipment.
  • Good communication with management and the health & safety team to raise any concerns.
  • Basic English skills to hold a conversation and understand health and safety procedures.
  • Right to work in the UK.
