Role Summary
An opportunity is available for a motivated Daytime Porter to work at the Tymon site in Tallaght, Dublin 24. The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months and involves 39 hours of work per week.
The role focuses on front-of-house support, site upkeep, and building security, helping day services run efficiently and in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Duties
The full duties are detailed in the job description and person specification. In general, the post involves reception cover, general maintenance support, and safeguarding the day-to-day operation of the building.
What You Need
Applicants should bring experience in a comparable position, preferably with a background in maintenance or building services. Strong communication skills are important, along with confidence in written, numerical, and verbal work.
Good English fluency is essential. Candidates should also be comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, as well as email.
A full driving licence and access to personal transport are required. Applicants must also be legally eligible to work in the state.
Pay and Leave
The salary range for this post is €33,661 to €37,425 pro rata per year. Salary may increase through Long Service Increments (LSIs), and the pay scale is expected to rise in 2026 in line with the recent WRC agreement for enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual leave is 30 days pro rata per year.
