What you will do
You will help convert data into practical business intelligence for financial services and technology-related client work. The role combines analytical thinking, technical development, and close collaboration with internal and client teams.
- Analyze large datasets to generate insights that inform strategic decisions
- Work with client teams on project-based development of AI-enabled custom tools
- Use data and analytics to guide dataset selection and modeling approaches
- Collaborate with analytics groups, technical specialists, and other practices to deliver integrated solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s thought leadership in financial services and technology
- Promote sound analytical practices and help teams use data more effectively
Qualifications and skills
The firm is looking for a technically strong, curious, and collaborative professional with experience in data science or data analysis, especially in a consulting context.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, statistics, or data science; a master’s degree is an advantage, with less than 2 years of work experience for that profile
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a data analyst or data scientist
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R, along with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with statistical and predictive modeling methods such as regression, forecasting, and decision trees
- Exposure to data engineering workflows, including ETL, orchestration tools like Airflow, and big data platforms such as Databricks
- Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data, including data modeling approaches such as 3NF and data vault
- Interest in or experience with modern AI frameworks and tools, including Langchain, Amazon Bedrock, and PydanticAI
- Comfort using Git, CI/CD pipelines, and current software development workflows
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services; Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed computing experience is a plus
- Previous consulting experience, particularly in financial services, is preferred
- Strong problem-solving ability, intellectual curiosity, and comfort in multicultural environments
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented and service-focused approach
- Ability to explain technical and analytical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
