Role overview

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Data Partnerships Lead supporting a client-side engagement. The role is centered on building and running strategic data partnerships that strengthen product capabilities and contribute to revenue growth through data monetization.

Compensation

The annual payout for this position is stated as $250K to $400K.

Key responsibilities

You will be expected to identify suitable data partners, evaluate their potential fit, and help grow the organization’s data ecosystem. The role also involves negotiating and finalizing data licensing agreements while making sure they support business goals and satisfy compliance standards. In addition, you will coordinate with engineering teams to bring third-party data into existing pipelines and platforms, track how partnerships are performing, and suggest improvements or opportunities for expansion. Close collaboration with legal and compliance teams will also be required to keep all partnerships aligned with regulations and internal policies.

Skills and qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring direct experience with negotiating data licensing agreements and partnership deals, preferably within technology or AI-focused environments. A solid grasp of data monetization approaches and the underlying data infrastructure is important, along with the ability to analyze data and measure the value of partnerships. The role also calls for strong project management across engineering, product, legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA is also required.
