Role Overview
FedEx Logistics is hiring a Data Management Analyst to support Engineering Decision Support activities through data analysis, database work, and operational reporting. In this role, you will collaborate with teams across multiple operating companies to gather the information needed for analytical and technical support.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with stakeholders to clarify data requirements and business needs.
- Collect and coordinate input data from different operating companies to support analysis.
- Develop and maintain database libraries, while helping with data extraction and manipulation tasks.
- Perform data analysis for operational and planning initiatives.
- Apply strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of databases, relationships, and data integrity.
- Take ownership of data quality for assigned areas and build deeper data expertise.
- Design, create, and deploy new data models in production.
- Design, create, and deploy data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows in production.
- Support processes already running in production.
Experience and Education
The role prefers at least 1 year of experience in data analysis, data management, and/or engineering. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer, software, or another technical or quantitative field is required. A master’s degree is preferred.
Skills and Functional Strengths
You should bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, presentation skills, project management capability, SQL proficiency, and experience with data analysis tools such as SAS and reporting tools such as Tableau, SAS VA, or Spotfire. Good human relations, organization, time management, and communication skills are also important.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated starting pay range for this position is USD 4,600.74 to 7,361.18 per month. In addition to salary, eligible employees may receive health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement benefits, tuition reimbursement, and possible additional pay, premiums, or bonus opportunities.
