Data Insights Analyst

Role Overview

Sio Valley Technologies is looking for an entry-level Data Insights Analyst who is naturally curious, highly analytical, and attentive to detail. The position focuses on turning raw data into practical business insights that help guide decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Gather data from different business systems, prepare it for analysis, and carry out cleansing and quality checks.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual presentations that make insights easy to understand.
• Spot trends, patterns, and opportunities by examining business data.
• Track KPIs and other performance measures to assess business health.
• Work with internal stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and business objectives.
• Share findings and recommendations that can support strategic and day-to-day decisions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts through analysis and reporting.
• Help streamline and automate reporting workflows where possible.

What We’re Looking For

• A basic grasp of data analysis, statistics, and reporting methods.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is preferred.
• Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, sound analytical thinking, and good problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Comfort working with large datasets accurately and efficiently.
• A degree, diploma, or relevant training in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Information Technology, or a related area is preferred.
