About the Role
Corient is seeking a Data Analyst to develop and manage effective data analytics and reporting solutions. This role is crucial for supporting key business decisions and driving measurable impact. You will be responsible for creating actionable data products that address top-priority business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data analytics solutions designed to support decision-making, optimization, and tangible business outcomes for critical business stakeholders. This includes creating and managing dashboards, regular reports, and analytical outputs.
- Implement data validation processes to guarantee the integrity of data solutions, ensuring that all data processes and outcomes are reliable, insightful, and delivered on time.
- Address ad-hoc data analysis requests promptly, delivering clear, well-organized results based on accurate data and focused on providing actionable insights.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, logic, transformations, data lineage, and final outputs.
- Provide cross-functional data analytics support by translating stakeholder requirements into precise data specifications. Serve as a senior expert in enterprise analytics and reporting.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in data science or analytics positions.
- A background in Financial Services, consulting, or fast-paced technology companies is advantageous.
- A strong academic record in a quantitative field is preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated proficiency with advanced data tools such as SQL, DBT, and Tableau, alongside expertise in data modeling and data quality frameworks.
- Advanced Excel modeling capabilities are highly desirable.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Exhibit effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation practices.
- Capable of working autonomously and as part of a team in a rapidly evolving, dynamic setting.
