Role overview

This position is being filled for a Haystack partner located in Hesse, Germany. The role focuses on building data-driven reporting and process support for the purchasing function, with close collaboration across business and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and Tableau.
Design data models that improve analysis of purchasing activities.
Support the rollout of a BI server solution for the purchasing team and help shape digital process concepts together with IT.
Increase transparency for purchasing control through structured data collection, information consolidation, and clear visual reporting.
Pull relevant information directly from the ERP system and combine it into usable datasets.
Create and refine Jira workflows as needed.

Profile and requirements

Completed studies in business informatics, economics, or an equivalent background.
Prior exposure to purchasing or IT work is beneficial.
Hands-on experience building data models with Power BI or Tableau.
Solid ability to create and adjust Jira workflows, plus a strong understanding of systems and processes.
Strong analytical approach, goal-oriented working style, and good teamwork and communication skills.
Deep knowledge of SAP MM.
Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, along with good English skills.
