About the Team
This role is part of the Catalog's Creative Team at Myntra Studios. Cataloging is essential for online shopping, as it involves creating digital representations of products to showcase their appearance and feel to customers. The team utilizes high-quality imagery, text, and videos to accurately detail products, aiding customers in their purchasing decisions. Myntra Studios employs top-tier equipment, advanced AI-driven image processing, and NLP tools to produce premium content.
Role Overview
The Associate - Creative Direction serves as a crucial link between production, post-production, and AI production teams, with a primary focus on ensuring exceptional visual output for catalog creatives. This position collaborates closely with studio, editing, and AI teams to guide creative direction, uphold quality standards, and translate fashion trends into compelling visual assets. Additionally, the role contributes to the development of guidelines and the enhancement of workflows for both studio and AI-generated production.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine AI prompts for image generation and enhancement.
- Coordinate with imagery production, post-production, and AI teams to guarantee superior output quality.
- Create and maintain creative guidelines for studio and AI production processes.
- Translate fashion trends and category-specific needs into practical shoot instructions and visual outcomes.
- Assess visuals for any issues concerning styling, garment fit, composition, lighting, and editing.
- Identify recurring quality gaps and implement corrective measures through precise feedback and references.
- Collaborate with various internal and external catalog teams to bridge the gap between offline and online shopping experiences, thereby boosting customer engagement on the app.
- Work closely with stylists, photographers, and editors to ensure the final output aligns with the established creative direction.
- Support cross-functional teams in enhancing the visual product presentation (LVP) through careful image selection, cropping, framing, and maintaining consistency.
Requirements
- Possess a strong understanding of fashion styling, garment fit, and trend interpretation.
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate visuals based on styling, photography, and editing criteria.
- Have practical experience in fashion shoots or studio settings.
- Exhibit good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Be proficient with Generative AI tools and skilled in crafting prompts for image creation and editing.
- Possess basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Be capable of translating concepts into clear presentations and guidelines.
- Show strong skills in teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while balancing quality and deadlines.
