Essential Job Duties
The Component Inspector will be responsible for the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, testing, and sorting of electronic hardware, including servers, network equipment, computers, and spare parts. This role involves configuring products according to customer specifications, generating detailed discrepancy reports, and providing technical support to customers. The inspector will collaborate with Inventory, Production Control, Supply Chain, and Sales departments to resolve customer technical issues and address any inventory specification discrepancies, providing updates to relevant teams and management. Additionally, the position requires assisting the Operations team and other departments as needed, while strictly adhering to and maintaining Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements in all work areas, as well as all quality, safety, and environmental processes and policies.

Experience
Previous hands-on experience in assembling or testing IT hardware, with a specific preference for Dell or HP equipment, is required.
Education and Certifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. Preferred certifications include Certified Network Administration (CNA), Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA), A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified System Administration (MCSA), Microsoft Technical Administration (MTA), Server+ Certification, and Network+ Certification.
Software Requirements
Proficiency with general Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected. Experience with Microsoft Access databases is considered a plus, as is prior experience with SAP or SAP ByDesign.
Physical Demands
The role requires the ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
