Role Overview

Inizio Engage works in partnership with a major biotechnology company across commercial, patient support, and medical affairs functions. The organization is hiring a Clinical Educator to provide educational support to healthcare professionals and office teams in primary care and specialty settings focused on a designated disease area. In this role, you will deliver disease-state education using approved materials, while staying aligned with program standards, compliance requirements, and the expectations of both Inizio leadership and the client.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver detailed clinical teaching on disease states and related care pathways to healthcare providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders through education delivered with approved content.
  • Work strictly within compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements for all materials, conversations, and field activity.
  • Operate within the client’s defined guidelines and collaborate with field partners as needed.
  • Complete all required Inizio and client training, along with competency checks, within the assigned timelines.
  • Keep accurate daily records of office visits and submit all required reports.
  • Log time and expenses using the designated company systems.
  • Maintain any required professional registration or licensing under Inizio rules and applicable state law.
  • Attend local or national meetings and conferences when asked by the client or Inizio to stay current on program updates and share best practices.
  • Care for client and company materials, devices, and equipment according to instructions.
  • Ensure every activity follows company policy, the code of conduct, and outside industry regulations.
  • Remain reachable during working hours to handle questions and carry out responsibilities.
  • Hold a valid United States driver’s license at all times and report any offenses or added penalty points to Inizio immediately.
  • Manage the assigned territory effectively and travel as required, including overnight trips.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned.
  • Note that Clinical Educators do not provide nursing care, medical advice, treatment advice, or product promotion.

Candidate Profile

  • You must be a qualified healthcare professional with an active state license; Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • An associate degree, bachelor’s degree, BSN, or comparable relevant experience is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a specific disease area or related field is needed, with respiratory experience preferred.
  • Prior exposure to the pharmaceutical or biotech sector as a clinical educator or in a sales role is preferred.
  • You should have strong professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to speak confidently to physicians and office personnel is important.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational ability, plus the capacity to work independently and prioritize tasks, is expected.
  • You should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and territory priorities at once.
  • A self-driven approach and high motivation are important.
  • Ongoing professional development and a commitment to maintaining clinical expertise are expected.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel, is required, and you must live within the assigned territory.
  • You must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and use standard office equipment.
