Role overview

The Client Delivery Manager plays a key part in supporting eCare service lines and serving both existing and prospective customers. This role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, improving retention, guiding cultural alignment, handling service recovery, and preparing reports. The person in this position partners closely with the Client Relationship Executive to help manage customer accounts on a day-to-day basis.

Work schedule and employment details

This is a salaried exempt role with standard working hours from Monday to Friday during daytime business hours. The position sits within the Corporate - Sales department and reports to the Executive Director of Sales Support and Operations.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will manage customer and stakeholder conversations, consultations, and recovery efforts. You will also help expand and integrate eCare service lines by supporting presentations, communicating customer updates, and ensuring service delivery remains efficient and effective. The job calls for handling multiple projects and account details at the same time while helping shape and carry out customer retention and account strategy plans, including tiering and annual visit planning.

You will be expected to flag potential relationship risks to leadership, maintain strong working ties across teams and stakeholders, uncover strategic business opportunities, and pass them to the Client Relationship Manager. The role also includes providing leadership for retention activities, supporting communication channels, identifying growth opportunities within the assigned client base, developing recovery plans for service issues, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration to align service strategy with customer needs.

Additional duties include building a detailed understanding of prospective business opportunities, mapping decision-making processes, interviewing key decision makers, and supporting customized marketing coordination for each service line. The position may require travel for customer meetings, working sessions, state medical association events, national conferences, and social events.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Healthcare, Communications, Business Management, or a related discipline is required. Alternatively, candidates with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in client management, business development, or public relations within a healthcare-related environment may also qualify.

Licensing and other requirements

A valid driver’s license is required, and the candidate must be insurable under Avel’s automobile liability insurance policy. The person in this role must also be able to work the hours listed for the position, and reasonable accommodations may be considered for individuals with disabilities so long as they do not create undue hardship for the employer.
