Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Cleaning Specialist based in St. Catharines, ON. The role involves executing a wide range of cleaning duties in both residential and commercial settings. Key tasks include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing various surfaces. The specialist will be responsible for cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, managing waste disposal, and ensuring that floors, windows, and common areas meet our high company standards. Depending on client requirements, the position may also encompass specialized services such as carpet maintenance or detailed move-in/move-out cleaning. Adherence to safety protocols, correct usage of cleaning products and equipment, reporting of any maintenance or safety concerns, and professional communication with clients and colleagues are essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience and confidence in commercial cleaning tasks, applicable to offices, retail spaces, and other business environments.
• Proficiency in residential and home cleaning, with the ability to follow detailed checklists and adapt services to specific client needs.
• Capability to perform window cleaning, including interior glass, mirrors, and accessible exterior windows.
• Basic understanding of carpet care, including thorough vacuuming, spot treatment, and appropriate maintenance for various carpet types.
• Exceptional attention to detail, effective time management skills, and the capacity to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and transport cleaning equipment throughout a full shift.
• A strong commitment to upholding safe work practices and correctly utilizing all cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Must possess reliable transportation to reach job sites throughout St. Catharines, ON, and be available for a consistent full-time work schedule.
• Prior professional cleaning experience is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
