Cleaner - Navan Blackcastle

Role Overview

As a Cleaner with BOYLE Sports at the Navan Blackcastle location in Meath, you will help keep the premises neat, orderly, and pleasant for both customers and employees. The role covers cleaning and upkeep in areas such as washrooms, gaming spaces, betting sections, and shared areas.

What You Will Do

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
• Sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, and flooring.
• Remove waste from bins and fit new liners as needed.
• Keep betting terminals and gaming areas clean and presentable.
• Check cleaning stock levels and refill supplies when required.
• Work according to the set cleaning timetable and operating methods.
• Follow all relevant health, safety, and hygiene instructions.
• Escalate any repairs, damage, or safety concerns to management without delay.

Experience and Skills

Prior work in housekeeping or commercial cleaning is an advantage, though not mandatory. You should be able to work on your own with efficiency, pay close attention to detail, communicate clearly, and take direction well. The role also requires a positive approach and the ability to maintain thorough standards.

Working Pattern

The shift pattern is based on the store’s needs and usually runs for 4 to 7 days each week. Daily shifts are short, lasting 1 to 2 hours, and are scheduled outside BOYLE Sports trading hours.
