Job description

Overview

This role is part of a project-based AI initiative that links subject-matter experts with leading technology companies to help test, assess, and enhance AI systems. It is not a permanent employment position and participation is tied to specific projects.

What You'll Do

  • Check AI-produced auto insurance claim decisions for correctness, proper coverage handling, and adherence to regulatory rules.
  • Create FNOL scenarios that include conflicting details, decoy documents, and outdated paperwork to challenge system resilience.
  • Develop and evaluate fraud-flagging cases using structured reasons such as late notice, a recently issued policy, or mismatched damage details for SIU referral.
  • Prepare subrogation test scenarios using state-by-state negligence standards, including comparative and contributory rules, and judge possible recovery outcomes.
  • Record test cases with clear explanations, correct outcomes, policy references, and payout computations.

Profile We Need

This opportunity suits professionals with experience in insurance claims, legal services, or other financial services fields who are comfortable working on part-time, non-permanent assignments.

Applicants should submit a CV in English and include their English proficiency level.

Eligibility and Experience

  • A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services is expected.
  • Recent or current exposure to claims handling, adjusting, or a similar role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of auto insurance coverage decisions, state negligence frameworks, and adjuster authority limits is important.
  • AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA certification is an advantage, but strong practical experience can also be sufficient.
  • Strong written English skills at C1 level or above are required.

How the Process Works

Apply, complete the qualification steps, join a project, carry out the tasks, and receive payment for completed work.

Working Time and Pay

During active project periods, the expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and not a guaranteed number of hours.

Pay can reach the equivalent of up to $60 per hour, depending on your level and the pace at which you work. Compensation may differ from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and the expertise needed.

Additional Information

Participation is project-based rather than permanent, and contributors may work on different assignments with varying earning potential.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
